Zooey Magazine held its party in celebration of its launch into print on August 15, 2010 at the 8443 Warner Studio. Benefiting the Farm Sanctuary, the event consisted of an eco-friendly gift lounge consisting of items from Mobi – Headphonies, Earth Essentials hand lotion, My Lip Stuff lip balm, Skinny Bitch books, Way Basics furniture that are made from recycled paper, YakPak gift bags made from recycled billboards, O’BON pencils which are made from recycled newspapers, Revenge Is t-shirts that consist of recycled bottles, Mui Chic jewelry, SET Boutique items that are fair trade, Lupine Pet keychains, and Green Forest/Planet Green laundry detergent. Other wonderful sponsors include Cupcakes a Go-Go, Steaz Organic Drinks, Granola Garden, EcoJot, Star Brite Smiles, and Carolina Pad.

Celebrity guests enjoyed mingling among other guests and designing their very own Mobi – Headphonies which are to be auctioned off for the Farm Sanctuary. Guests also stopped by Amanda Elkin’s mini-photo shoot conducted in front of the white backdrop at the studio.
