Amanda Crew was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and currently resides in Los Angeles. As a child, Amanda was very shy but began to come out of her shell in grade three. She started doing impressions in front of the class – in particular Mr. Bean – and soon discovered her passion for performing. During high school, Amanda became involved in the film and television program her school offered and her teacher recommended she take some professional training. At the completion of the training program, she was approached by an agent and the career of Amanda Crew was soon underway.

Starting with guest star roles in television shows such as Life As We Know It, Smallville and Final Destination 3, it wasn’t long before Amanda landed a lead role in the series 15/Love followed by another lead in the television series Whistler. Shortly after her move to Los Angeles, Amanda starred in the feature film Break-Up Artist followed by the horror thriller The Haunting in Connecticut. Her most recent role has her starring opposite Zac Efron in Charlie St. Cloud.

Away from the world of acting, Amanda enjoys spending time with her dog, has a strong interest in amateur photography and has been a vegan since 2007.
